07h45-08h00: Car and tour guide will pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter and Opera House area to depart for sightseeing:
- Khai Nguyen Pagoda in Son Tay, also known as Tan Vien Pagoda, full name is Tan Vien Son Quoc Tu. The pagoda dates back to the Ly Dynasty in the first half of the 11th century. The pagoda was newly restored in 2008, so it has a very unique ancient and modern mark, without destroying the space and historical value.
- Son Tay ancient town. The citadel was built in the 3rd year of Minh Mang (1822) and is the only ancient citadel built of laterite in Vietnam with unique architecture such as: laterite walls, 4 gates built of ancient bricks. This is one of the few citadels under the Minh Mang dynasty that remains today, the citadel was solidly built to protect the land northwest of Thang Long.
11h30: Lunch at the restaurant, rest. Afternoon continue to visit:
- Duong Lam ancient village, An ancient village typical of the Northern Delta. You will pass through the ancient village gate, visit Mong Phu communal house, Ba Chua Mia palace, and Giang Van Minh temple. You will walk along the village, visit the ancient house and enjoy specialties: sticky rice wine and Lam tea.
- Mia pagoda – The temple has the most ancient Buddha statues in Vietnam.
17h00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of Son Tay trip, See you again.
